From One Decade to Another

It's another New Year's Eve and it is as much a time of reflection, as one of excitement and looking forward. Only this year, it's a chance to look back over a decade and welcome another. A whole new set of pages!

As 2009 clicked over to 2010, I was still dreaming of becoming a published author and had just embarked on a road of discovery that took me to wonderful places, like Tuscany, and brought me many friendships. In January 2014 my dream came true when I got 'the call' from Mills and Boon and later that year, my first book, A Deal Before the Altar, was in my hands and on the shelves!

I'm taking the opportunity now to remind myself of that dream as 2019 has been a challenging year on many fronts, which forced my creativity into hiding and gave me limited time to do the one thing I love doing - writing.

However, I am not prepared to let go of my dream. I love writing and still have many characters and their stories, either scribbled down in notebooks or racing through my mind, and my latest book, A Shocking Proposal in Sicily, is out in all formats in January 2020.

So, whatever your dreams are for the next decade, big or small, I wish you every happiness and success as you reach for them!

COMPETITION!
Leave a comment, sharing your dreams for the next decade, to be in with a chance to win copies of A Shocking Proposal in Sicily and tell me your preference for either the US or UK cover.

Closing Date: 5pm GMT Sunday 5th January 2020

New Year Reading

Happy New Year!

I hope you all had a wonderful time over Christmas and the New Year. This year it's been a little bit more exciting as my fifth book has been released and it's set against the backdrop of a snowy New Year's Eve in England.

As it turned out, I was actually writing the New Year's Eve scene this time last year, although recent wet and windy weather here in Wales wasn't nearly as inspiring as last winter's cold and snowy weather.

I was also really excited to be told that this book is available as an audio download and you can find it here. I also have a Goodreads giveaway running for a signed copy.

On New Year's Eve I had a delivery of author copies
of my books from Australia and Holland and to
round it all off, the North American cover of my next
book, The Sheikh's Last Mistress, which will be
available in May 2016.

So, after all that excitement, I had better get back to writing!

Time Flies!

They say time flies when you are having fun – and this year has certainly flown by. It’s been a whirlwind from January when I got ‘the call’ from Mills and Boon. I've had the excitement of receiving copies of my first book and seeing them on the shelves. Just before Christmas I had another parcel of books, this time my second book, Claimed by the Sheikh which is a February release and will be available online and in the shops very soon!

To celebrate the end of such an amazing year, I have two signed hardback copies of my UK edition to give away. All you need to do is stop by the competition post on my Facebook page and tell me your favourite way to celebrate New Year’s Eve. Winning names will be drawn on Sunday 4th January at midday GMT.

Romantic Times Book Reviews – Thomas’s tale is full of secrets, lies and veiled passion. Her visual depiction of exotic, opulent desert locales and the emotionally heartrending ending is excellent.
I am also proud to have been a part of Winter Tales, a wonderful collection of short stories with winter themes, produced by The Write Romantics. My story is set in Wales, where I live, and takes place on New Year’s Eve. The anthology is still available for download, so why not support our chosen charities, The Teenage Cancer Trust and The Cystic Fibrosis Trust and get your copy here now.

I have had a fantastic and exciting first year as a published author and would like to say thank you to everyone who has supported me and wish you all A Happy New Year!
